Jack enjoyed a rapid rise in the summer of 2008. He started the previous campaign aged 15 and aiming to make an impression in the Under-18s squad. By February he was making his Reserve team debut against West Ham - scoring a wonderful curler in the process - then in August was handed a first-team squad number.
He joined Arsenal in 2001 as a nine-year-old and has turned into a creative midfield player who can operate on either flank. He also scores his fair share of goals.
Jack signed scholarship forms in the summer of 2008 and celebrated by going on the club’s pre-season training camp in Austria. He struck twice in the friendly against a Burgenland XI and added a classy goal past Jens Lehmann at Stuttgart.
His pre-season exploits have created a buzz and he is considered one of the brightest young talents in the Arsenal squad.
